Conditions and terms
Buying from Kauni Webshop While buying from our website, there isn't any binding agreement with Kauni before you have received an order confirmation from Kauni and paid for products to Kauni's bank account. While ordering via phone, agreement is binding immediately after you have paid for the products to Kauni Group bank account in Denmark or to production company Kauni Group OÜ bank account in Estonia. Separate order confirmations will not be sent.
Payment We accept only prepayment - money transfer. Your order goes to production as soon as we can see you have paid. Sale in general The given price at the moment of placing the order is the valid ordering price.
Delivery Your can pick up your order from the post office. Normally you will receive your package within 2-3 weeks: our knitters are knitting your order personally for you.

Buy without shipping fee! NB! Orders which cost more than 3000,-DKK (without shipping costs) will be sent out without fees! You don't have to pay shipping costs!
Production takes place in Estonia, in Kauni's knitting workshop. All models are knitted with hand machines personally for a customer after we have received the payment. To keep delivery expenses low, the order will be sent directly from Kauni's knitting workshop to the customer.
All prices include Estonian value-added tax 18% in Danish crowns in case nothing else is mentioned. Our prices are valid until the next catalogue comes out in February 2009. Minimum order is 300,- DKK (without shipping costs) We take precondition for possible spelling mistakes.
Not delivered packages If the ordered package can not be delivered, you will receive a post notification from the Post office where you can pick up your package. If the package will not be picked up, it will be sent back to us after 12 days and we will be charged extra. Therefore we will take a right to collect these trading charges that exclude 120 DKK.
Transport damages We ask you to notify about the visible damages directly to your Post office.
Exchange and return You may return all the products, which are bought from Kauni, within 14 days. The right to return the products starts from the day you receive them. If you decide to return the products within 14 days, you will receive a refund for them in case the following conditions are fulfilled. To have the right of return, the products have to be received in our storage in Denmark (address below) or in our storage in Estonia (address below) 14 DAYS after you received the package. We recommend you to send it as a parcel post from the post office. In that way the package can be tracked all the way to the point where we receive it. However it is not possible to send us anything with disbursement. When exchanging/returning the products, you will have to pay the postal costs of returning the products. One of the conditions to have the right to return the product is that the returned product has to be in the same condition when receiving it. If the product isn't returned in same condition, it will be determined discretionary below its selling price by Kauni. The product should be returned safely in its original package. Missing original package will depreciate the products sale value and it will bring extra expenses to repack the product. Therefore you will be charged an amount in accordance with our particular expenses. Damages to the product in addition to the missing package can cause a situation where you will not receive a refund because the product can not be reselled. When we have received the product, you will receive a total amount refund within 12-14 days (however without shipping costs and without bank service fee with the money transfer from us to the consumer). Remember to inform us of your bank account number and your registration number. Remember to write your name, address and invoice number to the return note which you will receive with the products, also fill in the relevant information about refunding or exchanging the product. Products which will be sent by disbursement or without a post-fee will not be accepted by Kauni. If you have any questions about returning of products you can turn to our customer service. Complaints If you have any complaints about our knitwear, you can send it back to us. You have the right to make a complaint within 6 months after you have received your products, so look after your invoice. Complaint includes only hidden defects. If the product has visible defects, the complaint should be fulfilled within 2 months after you have received the product. Overall wearing, extreme treatment or incorrect use, treatment or washing will not be considered as a complaint. If you receive a product, which is damaged during the transport, you should return the damaged package with the product and you should submit a claim to the post office about the delivery. If your product breaks before the complaint term has expired, we will fix the product. Remember to add a copy of the invoice you received with the products and add also a detailed description of the conditions which are important for the complaint. Service time is normally 2-3 weeks after we have received the product. With any possible dissensions we follow consumer protection regulations. Products can be returned only after foregoing agreement with Kauni.
